Hello,  I’m Rebecca!

I founded Pink Bowtie Events because I love to plan and organize, but also because I love a good love story - in real life, in movies, books, really anywhere! Even after years in the business, I still get excited to celebrate a couple’s love for each other.

After spending some time in the fast-paced, high-pressure world of investment banking, I decided it was time to start something that combined all the aspects of what I truly loved doing. As Roald Dahl once said, “If you are interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it full speed.  Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love and above all become passionate about it.”

That passion is what I bring to every aspect of my business. The joy I experienced on my own wedding day is exactly what I strive to help provide for my clients - a feeling that stays with them forever. Helping two people plan a perfectly choreographed event to kick off the new chapter of their life and love is a true honor that I never take for granted.

I can’t wait to talk to you about your vision for your wedding or special event. Let’s celebrate your romance by designing the best day of your life.

Did you know?

So much of the wedding planning process includes getting to know you, so I can help plan an event that feels authentic and personal to you. With that in mind, here are a few things you should know about me!

  • I am a mom to twins - Grant and Wellesley - and one furry Australian Shepherd Woody, who has been on The Dogist twice!

  • I often have a La Colombe cold brew in my hand, see first bullet point!

  • I played tennis all the way through college, go Skidmore Thoroughbreds!

  • I have lived in London & Geneva and would absolutely move back

  • I most often order champagne or a Rye Manhattan when out

  • My husband Greg and I still go back every year to Mr. Chows Tribeca, the restaurant where we had our first (blind) date!

  • Dahlias over peonies, always.

  • Winter. I love winter, the snow, cozy sweaters, and skiing!

  • I believe that #loveislove, #blacklivesmatter and I work with vendors who feel the same! I’ve also signed the Ally Pledge by Jove Meyer, read it here.

  • My guilty pleasures are ice cream, chocolate cake and vintage jewelry!
